Dr. Michael Sparks relocated from Mesa, Arizona, to Kentucky in 2007 to attend the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Sparks recognizes that most people don’t like coming to the dentist and strives to make it as comfortable as possible. Any free time Dr. Sparks has is spent working on antique cars, especially 1932 to1940 Fords. Dr. Sparks enjoys spending time with his wife and family!

Dr. Ryan Sparks is originally from Taylorsville, Kentucky. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Kentucky before graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. What she enjoys most about dentistry are the bonds that are formed with patients. She also enjoys helping patients overcome any fears and making them feel comfortable during their visit. Dr. Sparks is married to her husband, Mike, and together they have two daughters. In her spare time, she loves watching the UK Wildcats, gardening, baking and traveling. She’s hoping to travel to all 50 states in her lifetime!

Edit: They called me today and apologized and refunded me the difference. The lady who quoted me the $75 was not there that day and there was a miscommunication. I appreciate that this was resolved.

Not a good experience. I do appreciate that they got me a fast appointment to fix my broken permanent retainer. But over the phone I was quoted $75 as the cash price if my insurance didn’t cover it. On the day of the appointment they charged me $342 and claimed they never said $75. I even offered to meet in the middle and they refused. In the future I will go elsewhere.

My husband got his dentures made here as well as all of his extractions. The guy dentist did an amazing job and his wife (the girl dentist) did his consultation and she was wonderful. Thank you for bringing my husband’s smile back. I highly recommend this place. The office ladies were super sweet as well. The guy dentist made sure to include me in all decisions and throughout the entire process; which my husband and I really appreciated because I’ve dealt with dental work more than he has. This is the best dental office I have ever gone to. Everyone has always been so nice and friendly. Even though they were able to get me in on short notice, I never felt rushed. Some places make you feel like they want you in and out. They took there time making sure I was comfortable and felt as little pain as possible. I highly recommend this dental practice.
