Dr. Nilima Horlander joined us after practicing in Chicago for over six years. She is originally from Louisville and attended Sacred Heart Academy before graduating from Xavier University. She continued her education and received her dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Horlander and her husband, Greg, have two children and a sweet golden retriever named Henna. Dr. Horlander loves helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams. In her spare time, Dr. Horlander enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, cheering on the Louisville Cardinals (especially in basketball!) and taking walks with her kids.

I came into Mortenson Family Dental a little apprehension. I haven’t had a cleaning in 4 years due to extreme sensitivity to cold and the water that was used by the last dentist I saw was cold and caused me pain. My visit here at mortenson was wonderful. From being greeted by smiling faces at the front door all the way through my exam and cleaning everyone I interacted with was awesome!! I had a panoramic X-ray, my gums exams, my teeth cleaned and then meet the dentist for another exam. Just when I thought I was done they did a cancer screening and fluoride treatment. Wonderful experience!
